FREE Coastal Collage Workshop

Wednesday 1st, Saturday 4th and Wednesday 8th July 2026, 10am - 12pm and 1 - 3pm

Ever wanted to try your hand at collage?

Join Coasts in Mind and artist Jodie House to create your own collage exploring coastal change in Poole Harbour. From the environment to wildlife, tourism to industry, the Harbour and its communities are continually evolving, adapting to new challenges and opportunities. Using Coasts in Mind’s unique image archive, we’d like to see your creative response to these changes and the messages you’d like to share about this beautiful landscape.

Each two-hour session will include a short introduction to the Coasts in Mind Project followed by a guided collage workshop where you’ll be let loose on a wide range of pictures and materials to work with. Each collage will be photographed and displayed in Poole Museum as part of the Coasts in Mind exhibition which runs until August 2026 (optional).

We encourage everyone who registers to bring along a photograph from somewhere in Poole Harbour that signifies change to you. The team will scan and print it so you can include it in your artwork.

Everyone is welcome, no experience necessary.
