Terms & Conditions

When you confirm your purchase, you are accepting that these terms and conditions form the basis of any agreement between Poole Museum and yourself.

When booking please ensure you have selected the correct date, time and number of tickets required. It is your responsibility to check prior to completing your order that the information you have supplied to us with regard to your order and your ticket requirements is accurate.

Prices

The price of your ticket will be clearly shown on the website at the time you place your order. Prices are in UK Sterling and inclusive of any applicable taxes and surcharges.

Prices are subject to change without notice.

Ticket types

Unless otherwise stated the following definitions apply to Poole Museum admission tickets;

Adult: applies to anyone 18 years and over, not eligible for a reduced entry price under any other ticket type.

Child: applies to anyone under 18 years.

Concession: applies to students and seniors 65+. Presentation of valid ID for proof of eligibility will be required on arrival at the Museum if asked.

Carers: applies to a registered care or companion, accompanying or supporting the needs of another visitor with a disability. Presentation of valid ID for proof of eligibility will be required on arrival at the Museum if asked.

Payments Online

To purchase an admission ticket, it is necessary for Poole Museum to collect personal data and process this in accordance with our Privacy Policy which can be viewed here.

Ticket Collection

Once full payment has been made, you will receive your purchased admission tickets via an email confirmation using the contact details provided during the online payment process.

This email and the included tickets constitute proof of purchase. Please check you have received this email following your purchase. Poole Museum take no responsibility for the loss of this email due to reasons outside of our control.

This confirmation email must be presented to staff on arrival in order to gain admission to the booked event at Poole Museum.

Cancellation

Whilst rare, circumstances may arise when Poole Museum has to cancel your ticket.

If Poole Museum needs to cancel your ticket;

 

· We will make every reasonable effort to contact you via the details you provided during the online payment process.

 

· If appropriate, we will provide the option to exchange your ticket for an alternative date or time. If an alternative date or time cannot be arranged, we will refund the total amount paid by you for the ticket at the time of purchasing.

 

· We cannot be held responsible for any costs incurred by you such as travel, accommodation or any other related service arranged by you in anticipation of your visit.

Refunds

If for any reason you are unable to attend the event on the date or time specified on your tickets, it may be possible to arrange an exchange for an alternative date or time where available.

If an alternative date or time is not available, Poole Museum operates a no refund policy.

Health and Safety

Your visit to a Museum event is at all times subject to any notice to visitors we post on our premises and to the direction, supervision and guidance of our staff, which may include directions in relation to health and safety.
